Disney le concedió el deseo de ver "Star Wars: El Ascenso de Skywalker" antes de su estreno a un paciente terminal. El hospicio donde el hombre se está tratando había iniciado la petición.
Rowans Hospice es el nombre de la institución situada en Hampshire, Inglaterra, que el martes pasado utilizó Twitter para pedir que uno de sus pacientes pueda cumplir su sueño de ver la película. La última de la saga de Star Wars está programada para estrenarse a mediados de diciembre en el Reino Unido.

La petición se volvió viral en las redes sociales, tanto que llegó a ojos de Mark Hamill, actor que interpreta a Luke Skywalker, quien junto con los demás usuarios, le desearon "buena suerte" tanto al hospicio como al paciente, con su petición.
Así fue como Bob Iger, el presidente ejecutivo de Disney, expresó a través de la misma red social que la compañía le permitiría al paciente y a su hijo ver la película antes que llegue a los cines.

“En este Día de Acción de Gracias, en @Disney estamos agradecidos de poder compartir #TheRiseOfSkywalker con un paciente y su familia @RowansHospice. ¡Que la fuerza te acompañe a ti y a todos nosotros!”, fueron las palabras de Iger.
Lisa Davies, una asistente médica de Rowan Hospice, declaró luego de recibir la noticia que estaba “completamente sin palabras“. Además, agradeció a Disney diciendo: “¡Apreciamos totalmente que hayan tenido que mover montañas para que esto suceda!”
