De Beckham al príncipe William: así anunció Inglaterra, rival de Argentina, las convocadas al Mundial femenino
Las Leonas, como se conoce al equipo británico, ya tiene sus 23 jugadoras para la cita. Será rival del Aregentina en la fase de Grupos.
La un mes del arranque del Mundial femenino de Francia, la expectativa crece en las diferentes selecciones, desde las que apuntan al título hasta las que buscan experiencia. Inglaterra es una de esas que estuvo cerca pero nunca pudo gritar campeón. Ya se anunciaron las 23 convocados, de una forma muy original.
Y es que a través de la cuenta oficial de Twitter de la selección femenina, distintas figuras de Ingalterra fueron felicitando a una jugadora por formar parte de la lista final. Por ejemplo, el príncipe William le comunicó a la capitana Steph Houghton que irá a Francia.
Otros de los que se hicieron presentes fueron David Beckham, Alan Sheerer, Rahim Sterling y Jordan Pickford. Además estuvieron artistas como Emma Watson (Harry Potter) o James Corden; periodistas y ex jugadoras de la selección. Cada una tuvo su video especial para enterarse de la convocatoria.
